Valeria Campos Salvaterra. Ph.D. in Philosophy. Associate Professor at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso. Her areas of specialization are ethics, political theory and philosophy of law. She has published articles on the relationship between violence and discourse, especially in the philosophy of Emmanuel Levinas and Jacques Derrida. She is the author of the book Violencia y fenomenología. Derrida, entre Husserl y Levinas (Santiago of Chile: Metales Pesados, 2017). Currently, she is working on the role of food in some of the main philosophical texts of the philosophical tradition, in the project entitled Policies of taste and aesthetics of food.
